Overview: Acrobits is a mobile software development company with a focus on SIP Clients for mobile devices; their SIP client, Acrobits Softphone, is the leading app of it's type on the iTunes App Store.

  • Start the Acrobits App
  • Once the Acrobits App has started, start the configuration.

Please note that the below screenshots were taken from an iPhone.

You will need to fill the information for your account:

  • Title: Name or Business or name/department e.g Smith Sales
  • Username: You account username (six digit number) E.G 290111_name
  • Password: The password you set for the account / sub account
  • Domain: One of Voice multiple servers, which will be provided to you

Finally click on the "Save" button and you will be able to start using the Acrobits App.

Follow the next steps

Click on the gear icon top right hand corner (settings)

Click on accounts:

Click on title top left hand corner:

Scroll down to find Advanced settings and click on it:

Make sure video calls are disabled

Then below AUDIO CODES

Click Codecs For WiFi

Drag and drop the following Codecs to enable and disable them by holding down and dragging up or down to position.

Make sure G.77 u-law, G.722, G.729A and GSM (RPE-LTP) is enabled.

 

Repeat the same process for Codecs For Mobile Data

Drag and drop the following Codecs to enable and disable them by holding down and dragging up or down to position.

Make sure G.77 u-law, G.722, G.729A and GSM (RPE-LTP) is enabled.

 

For secure calls click on Transport Protocol and change it to tls (sip)

Select tls (sip)

Scroll down to find Secure Calls

Click on Secure Calls

See below configurations

Click Done top right hand corner

Then click on settings top left hand corner

Click Done again top right corner

Click on push notifications

Enable push notifications

Click on settings top left hand corner

Then click on Done top right hand corner

You should then be on the home screen where you will be able to make calls.

Confirm that you title (top left hand corner) is solid green.

You're all set.
